Job description


The functionality tester will be in charge of testing the client’s products (video games) on all kinds of platforms (consoles, online games, social networks) by executing test cases. The bugs found will have to be reported in a database and entered in the test suite.


Main responsibilities


·         Test the products by following the test suite;

·         Execute test cases;

·         Report bugs in the database;

·         Follow up on them


Requirements


·         At least one year of experience as a video game tester, a must

·         Written and spoken English skills

·         Experience with console and/or PC game testing

·         Communicates efficiently, works well in a team, demonstrates strong analytical skills

·         Detail oriented

·         Knowledge of bug tracking software such as Jira, Test Track Pro and/or Devtrack, a plus

Nichols Aluminum is a leading manufacturer of coated and mill finish aluminum sheet for a wide variety of markets. Nichols Aluminum operates five facilities in four states.
 
Utilizing the continuous casting process at the Davenport, Iowa mini-mill facility, aluminum sheet is cold rolled to gauge and then finished at the Davenport, Iowa, Decatur, Alabama, and Lincolnshire, Illinois locations to customer specifications.
 
Nichols Aluminum operates two coil coating lines: Davenport, Iowa (36") and Decatur, Alabama (50"). We have the capability of coil coating a diverse selection of organic coatings and finishes.
Our products serve building and construction, transportation, machinery and equipment, consumer durable, and electrical.
 
Basic Functions of Quality Control Shift Supervisor
 
Insures conformance to specification of outputs throughout Nichols Aluminum in Davenport.
 
Nature and Scope
 


Individual will assist production department personnel in maintaining the quality of the NAD product.


This will involve auditing production material and processes to ensure they are produced to specification, notifying production personnel of any substandard conditions and assisting production personnel with corrective action.


The QC Supervisor must maintain various quality reports in a timely and accurate manner.


He/she will implement procedures and work steps to insure the quality of NAD-purchased raw materials.


He/she make periodic audits of various NAD processes such as rolling practices, annealing practices, waste treatment, pretreatment practices, coating and slitting practices.


He/she will assist production personnel in developing and writing work steps, as well as determining accurate measurements.


He/she will insure the QA labs are maintained for cleanliness.


He/she must work closely with production personnel in developing problem-solving techniques.


He/she will design, recommend, and validate statistical sampling experiments, methods and controls for raw materials, work in process, and finished product.


They will observe and analyze process and product quality data in an effort to locate opportunities for improvement.


Develops record-keeping and reporting methods/procedures.


Will perform evaluation of test data and prepare reports relating to quality control yields defect cause, correction, customer complaints, etc.


Will present accurate daily, weekly, and/or monthly reports.


Will interface with customers, top management, manufacturing, sales, and others in order to meet customer requirements.


Will keep abreast of new testing, quality, and productivity methods.



 
Principal Accountabilities of Quality Control Shift Supervisor
 


Insure conformance to specification of outputs. (QIP)


Provides a resource to all NAD production personnel.


Insures conformance to specification of incoming raw material (paint, scrap, reroll).

Minimum Educations: Bachelors Degree in Communications, Business, or Marketing

Experience: 5 years in related fields of public affairs, communications, and marketing

Preparing and reviewing written communications and presentations;
planning and coordinating meetings/conferences;
successfully interacting with all levels inside an organization; and
using Microsoft Office software packages.

Provides direct support to the Special Operations Technical Industry Liaison Office (TILO). Interface with industry on the submission of technology capabilities to the U.S. Special Operations Command Center for Acquisition and Logistics. Coordinate contractor visits to SOCOM for program related meetings, including arranging location, time, and participants; compile and assemble background material for agenda items and inform participants of topics to be discussed.

Experience requires a mid-working level, non-managerial position performing communications/marketing work, i.e. planning, organizing, drafting, writing, and editing communications for various media to a broad public audience. Experience of candidate should be a mix of the following written and oral communications: brochures, pamphlets, announcements, web-page articles, written publications, speeches, presentations, briefings, conferences, position papers, etc.
